Recognitions and alliances

The school has obtained the EFQM European Seal of Excellence. (European Foundation for Quality Management) 500+, awarded by the Club de Excelencia en Gestión (Management Excellence Club). This recognition is a major milestone as, in the seven years since its foundation, our school has achieved three EFQM Seals of European Excellence: the previous one (400+) in 2016 and the first one (300+) in 2014. In Spain, there are only 100 companies with this distinction and 30 of them are educational institutions.

HBS Torrejón_banco-de-alimentos
The Banco de Alimentos de Madrid is a non-profit charitable organization whose purpose is to obtain food free of charge to distribute it, also free of charge, among charities dedicated to assisting and caring for people in need within the Community of Madrid. HBS collaborates in the collection of food for the need.
HBS Torrejón_AEA
Humanitas Bilingual School Torrejón collaborates with the Association of Aeronautics Employees, whose objective is to provide humanitarian aid to those most in need.
HBSTJ_Universidad
Humanitas Torrejón has signed collaboration agreements with the main Spanish universities, enabling its pupils to carry out internships for the Master’s Degree in teacher training.
HBS Torrejón_Empresa
This project seeks to bring the educational system and the world of work closer together through educational internships in companies and institutions. This, in turn, makes young people better prepared to make decisions about their academic and professional future, motivating them and providing them with the necessary skills.
Humanitas Torrejón_ProyectoSalvavidas
HBS participates in Project Lifesaver for the prevention of sudden death. This project is a social initiative that aims to raise awareness among non-health professionals of the importance of a healthier lifestyle, of the need to learn resuscitation and first aid techniques, as well as to achieve greater implementation of semi-automatic defibrillators. HBS has been catalogued as a Cardioprotected Space, as it has a defibrillator at the disposal of the educational community and its teaching and health personnel are trained in its use.

INLADE Foundation, formed by workers with intellectual disabilities, and HBS collaborate in the collection of household oil that will later be recycled.

We participate in the projects organized by the Centers of the Red_Pea of schools associated with Unesco.
HBS Torrejón_Diploma
HBS collaborates with Académica in the dual diploma baccalaureate program, which provides the opportunity to obtain two degrees simultaneously: the baccalaureate from the pupil's home country and the U.S. baccalaureate.
HBS Torrejón
As a bilingual center, HBS is recognized as a trinity examiner center and collaborator in the external English tests conducted by Cambridge.
